Hiking route S3 in Skaftafell open
The S3 hiking trail around Skaftafellsheiði has been opened, but the route was closed in the beginning of May due to wet conditions and the risk of vegetation damage. The trail up to Kristínartindar (S4) is still closed due to dangerous situation because of snow or ice on the trail.
