Vatnajökull National Park has a new website

Welcome to the new website of Vatnajökull National Park!

The new site aims to give better information, travel advice and help everyone learn about the nature and history of the park.

The site is roughly divided into four categories to help visitors navigate:

Visit: To plan your visit. The park is divided into areas, activities, visitor centres and travel advice.

Discover: To discover and learn about the uniqueness of the park shaped by fire and ice both online and on site.

Conservaton: How we manage the park and information about UNESCO world heritage, Ramsar sites and the sustainable development goals

The National Park: Practial information about the park, the parks policy and governance, permits, jobs, etc.
