Snæfellsstofa Visitor Centre

Snæfellsstofa is a visitor centre for Vatnajökull National Park in the eastern region.

May - September: Everyday 10-17

Accomodation

Snæfellsskáli cabin is at Snæfell and acommodates around 45 people. There is also a campsite, flush toilets and showers. There are several cabins in the nature reserve at Lónsöræfi and adjacent areas.

Accessibility in Snæfellsstofa

Snæfellsstofa Visitor Centre is accessible for individuals with reduced mobility. A reserved parking space is in front of the visitor centre and a clear pathway is from there to the entrance. The front door opens automatically and there is plenty of space to navigate indoors. The visitor centre has an accessible bathroom available to guests. Employees have received instructions in welcoming guests with reduced mobility and are always ready to help.
