Fellsfjara

Jökulsárlón

Fellsfjara is located next to Jökulsárlón (Glacier lagoon) south of road nr. 1. Fellsfjara is a popular destination among travelers due to the fact that glacier ice from the lagoon often end up on the black beach creating a stunning scene. This has given the beach the name "diamond beach" among travelers. Car parks are located at the beach and at the lagoon. Do not hike over the bridge - it is possible to hike under the bridge.
